Meet Daniel & Neha – The Founders Behind GIGTEK
At GIGTEK, we're all about bringing smiles to peoples dials through memorable events. Whether it’s a vibrant music gig, a sparkling corporate gala, or something in between, our mission is simple: create events that uplift and inspire. Built on passion, partnership, and a bit of serendipity, GIGTEK is where heartfelt commitment meets hands-on expertise.
Every awesome partnership has humble beginnings, and ours began in 2017 when our wildly different worlds crossed paths in the most unexpected of places – Kununurra, Western Australia. I was in town from Darwin delivering event services for the East Kimberley Aboriginal Achievement Awards, working long hours behind the scenes in the world I know best. Meanwhile, Neha was selected for a three-month secondment in remote Australia, leaving behind her finance-driven London city life to volunteer her finance expertise to an indigenous-led organisation supporting community-driven initiatives.
And so we met by serendipity. It was me consuming Neha’s wine that sparked conversation, and it was being pen pals across continents for years that truly weaved a connection that grew into a deep friendship, and eventually, a partnership - both in life and in business. It’s our shared love for bringing people together – through music, community or meaningful experiences – that lade foundations for GIGTEK.
I bring years of hands-on gig experience, knowing the nuts and bolts of what brings an event to life, handling every detail with precision and finesse to turn an ordinary vision into an unforgettable reality. Neha draws on her financial background to bring structure, strategy and risk management to the business. Meanwhile, her background in her family's wedding and event décor business brings a creative eye to GIGTEK, with unique styling ideas and distinctive event concepts.
Together, we blend creativity with organisation, spontaneity with strategy. It’s this balance that allows us to craft events that don’t just look good on paper – they’re memorable, meaningful, and seamlessly executed - a true reflection of our clients’ visions.
